Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple / by Raji Radhakrishnan

Thanks to M we saw one of the most beautiful and oldest temples in India - Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple at the foot of Nandi Hills near Bangalore - built in the 9th Century AD by Nolamba dynasty and continued to be improvised and maintained right up to Tipu Sultan, the temple was built entirely by hand carved stone. It is one of the finest and oldest examples of true Dravidian architecture and design!! #india #incredibleindia #temple #dravidianarchitecture
