Color /
Thinking of color...and how artists use it - from old masters like Vermeer to modern art blue chips like Warhol and how in retrospect they actually defined their era, what was modern then, what was the norm or acceptable to them at that time with the use of color and exactly how and where they used it. I think even the shades of color were so much more bolder in the 20th Century and very telling on how we perceived ourselves and society at that moment. So, how are we defining ourselves right now?

TBT: A German Shoe Cabinet /
#TBT - A Before & After of a vintage German shoe cabinet I bought for one of my early client projects. While it was exactly what we needed for a narrow hallway, the plain-Jane look of it didn't quite cut it. In an inspired moment, I took my brushes and created a painting on the front door of the cabinet. And while at it, I decided to discreetly paint the profiles of the client's three little children within the painting. Can you spot all three of them?
