Shapes and their interplay, as one may have noticed, is a recurring theme in The Artist Series. Like the Rijks rug, the Uffizi explores the double rectangle yanked in opposing directions with the main rectangle being a three dimensional block or book. Set in an angle, the block/book seems to beg to be revealed yet the second rectangle seems to be guarding it's identity keeping it in tact. Whatever the story, the meaning, the shapes are rife for exploration and interpretation. The Uffizi is designed to be used alone or paired with the Pitti rug.

Our rugs are made in India using fine New Zealand blended wool with a 100% wool pile. Each yarn is individually tufted by hand to enhance the rug's design. A high quality latex backing material is used to provide strength and durability to the carpet. All our rugs will carry the RUGMARK seal ensuring no child labor is used in the production of the rug.
Note: The latex backing on the rug along with the weight of the rug make the carpet anti-skid especially with furniture on it. However, if you prefer to add more cushion to the rug or for smaller rugs that won't have any furniture over it, purchase of a rug pad is recommended.
